After a brief taste of major-label success with his former band Marvelous 3 during the late '90s, Butch Walker traded his bandmates for a solo career and made his second bid for rock & roll success in the early 2000s, doing a lot of production work on the side.

Locksley was formed in Madison, Wisconsin and is made up of brothers Jesse and Jordan Laz and longtime friends Kai Kennedy and Sam Bair. The band released \"Don\'t Make Me Wait\" in 2007 on their own Feature Records label. Considerable touring followed, including a stint as both the opener and backing band for Kinks legend Ray Davies, as well as performances on \"Jimmy Kimmel Live!\" and \"Late Night With Conan O\'Brien\". They re-released their debut more broadly in 2008 to correspond with an MTV feature on the group and several high profile song placements, including the J.J. Abrams produced movie Cloverfield and a three-song RockBand pack. The group\'s penchant for melody and up-tempo, sing-a-long friendly songs has drawn comparisons to everyone from the Beatles and Kinks to the Cure and the Strokes. In September, they released Darling, It\'s True, the first single off their sophomore album, Be in Love due February 23, 2010.
